Innovation
award for Banham Power project
Banham
Poultry's plans to transform poultry by-products into a
renewable source of electricity have won recognition in
the prestigious EEEGR Innovation Awards 2005.
Praised by the competition judges for 'turning a problem
into an opportunity', the project was voted joint runner-up
at the awards ceremony held at the Hilton Hotel, Norwich
on 1 February 2005.
Accepting the award on behalf of Banham Poultry, Company
Director Robin Goram said:
'We were genuinely delighted to be short-listed for the
final, let alone walk away with one of the top awards. It
means a great deal to receive independent recognition for
our plans, particularly in the face of such strong competition
from other energy sectors.'
